Buen Hombre is raising the bar big-time with its first mega event starting Saturday 30. of May running until sunday 7. of June with plenty of events. The organizers are aiming high calling this the caribean version of the World-Famous Cochella Festival selebrated in the US. Buen Hombre will have a long week of events including competitions, concerts, food-trucks and a lot more. In true festival style accomodation will also be offered in a dedicated tent area just behind the beach, in addition to the regular selection of Hotels in Buen Hombre.
Kite Competition
One of the main events will be the kite-competition and the promotor is promising BIG prizes:
Juniour first prize: 3.500 USD
Woman first prize: 7.000 USD
Men first prize: 7.000 USD

Bicycle Event 7. june
The bike-part of the events starts in Santiago de los Caballeros. Particupants will ride from the Monument in the center of the city the 200km route to Buen Hombre. This will be the fifth time this race is done from Santiago to Buen Hombre. The promotor for this part of the event ic BICIRED, the national foundation for bicycle events in the Dominican Republic.
